I experimented with a few different lkayouts for the cover boards for my type specimen package.
I wanted it to have a really bold chunky feel so I decided to screenprint the boards. As well as printing a regular black onto the boards I also printed a spot varnish on top of it. It has come out really well, it's got a shiny almost 3D look and I think it feels really highly finished and quality.
